Melissa's Fight Against Tough Circumstances

Sometimes in life, circumstances that are beyond our control can interfere with our health and fitness goals. Whether it’s an unexpected health issue, an injury, a change in employment, or family problems, sometimes it’s just not possible to exercise as much as we should.

That’s what happened with our featured patient, Melissa. She’s a basketball player who lived a very active life until a knee injury significantly changed her lifestyle. Being unable to exercise after her injury lead her to gain weight and lose self-confidence. She was very unhappy with her body and felt defeated. No matter what she tried, she was unable to get her body back to a place where she felt comfortable in her own skin.

When life takes an unexpected turn it can be tough to find your way back to happiness and health. Luckily, Melissa wasn’t willing to give up. Her sister had gotten great results from a Sono Bello procedure, so Melissa gave us a call to schedule her own consultation. We were thrilled to be able to help her get back to a body she is comfortable in.

Once she saw her post-procedure results, she realized that she was in control again and refocused on healthy eating and exercise. Now, thanks to hard work and dedication, Melissa has lost over 60 pounds and regained her confidence. She’s proud of herself and how far she has come, and so are we!
