Dr. Anu Antony is a highly accomplished and dedicated board–certified plastic surgeon with a robust academic and clinical background. Born in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Antony brings a unique blend of international experience and expertise to her practice. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Antony further honed her skills through an internship and residency in plastic surgery at Stanford University Medical Center. Her commitment to excellence led her to complete two prestigious fellowships, one at Massachusetts General/Harvard University Medical Center and another at Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center/Cornell University.

Dr. Antony is a highly respected leader in her field, having served as past president of both the Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons and the Illinois State Society of Plastic Surgery. She is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Aesthetic Society, Southeastern Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the North Carolina Society for Plastic Surgery.

Her medical philosophy is simple yet profound: treat patients as if they are family. This compassionate approach has earned Dr. Antony the admiration of her colleagues and patients alike. She is fluent in English and also speaks some French, Italian, and Spanish, which helps her connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Antony has a deep appreciation for the arts. She studied art at the Lorenzo–Medici Institute of Art in Florence, Italy, and enjoys clay sculpture and pottery as a personal hobby. A dedicated family woman, she is married with two children and two fur babies. Dr. Antony is also passionate about giving back to the community and supports causes
such as Susan G. Komen and Bright Pink for breast cancer awareness and research.
