Dr. David Gutierrez was born in New York, NY and currently resides in Louisiana with his wife and three children. He speaks English and Spanish. When not operating, he enjoys aviation and motorsports. He also loves spending time with his family and traveling. His favorite charity is Pilots for Patients.
Throughout his medical education and training he earned multiple awards including National Dean’s List (1992 &1993), Louisiana Rural Practitioner of the Year (2016), US Navy Good Conduct Medal (1991), National Defense Service Medal (1991), Southwest Asia Service Medal (1991), and more.
Dr. Gutierrez medical philosophy is to first do no harm. Once that is maximized then he does whatever he can to heal, ameliorate, or make the patient comfortable in their own body.
