Dr. Matthew Alter is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He obtained his medical degree from SUNY in Buffalo, NY. He did an internship in General Surgery at SUNY in Buffalo, NY.  Dr. Alter has been a fellow at the American College of Surgeons since 2003.

Dr. Alter’s medical philosophy is the patient always comes first. He believes everyone should be treated the way they would like to be treated. Dr. Alter believes in providing natural results to enhance the natural beauty in the safest environment. To him, there is no need to take excessive risk, and he will always make sure his patients receive the highest quality of care.

Dr. Alter was born in Brooklyn, NY. He is married to his wife Lynn, and they have two dogs, Zoey and Dani. Dr. Alter has two children, Sydney and Renia. When Dr. Alter is not operating, he enjoys playing the guitar. Music is his passion, and he has a home recording studio where he has recorded and released two full studio albums of original music over the past two years. He also enjoys golfing and spending time with his family!
