Dr. Valerie Lemaine, M.D., M.P.H., was born in Montreal, Canada. She moved to Raleigh, NC in July 2023 with her partner, Zak, and their two French bulldogs, Gibson and Ziggy. Dr. Lemaine speaks English, French, and Spanish. Fun Fact: Dr. Lemaine’s first concert was David Bowie when she was 12 years old! When not operating, Dr. Lemaine enjoys music, art, and bodybuilding. She is an accomplished pianist and an avid art collector. She was on the Board of Trustees for the Walker Art Center for 6 years when she lived in Minneapolis. Dr. Lemaine is passionate about health and weightlifting.

Dr. Lemaine has been voted Top Doctor for Women by Minnesota Monthly Magazine and St. Paul Magazine for her 15 years practicing in Minnesota. Dr. Lemaine’s medical philosophy is to always be passionate about giving her patients the most natural surgical results with the shortest possible recovery times. When caring for her patients, she focuses on attention to detail, uses her artistic eye, technical excellence, and always provides safe, compassionate care.
