They over-charge for services, do not respond to questions after the surgery and the follow up is terrible. We had questions right after the surgery but when we tried to leave a message, no one ever responded and it has been months of that. My recommendation, buyer beware!”

I am about 6 weeks post-op from lipo (full abdomen: upper/lower/flanks or love handles/and back bra rolls; let's just say I am already loving my results. With swelling diminishing, I am still a bit sore and itchy lol but things are coming along for sure! I am trying to get even more consistent now with working out and making healthier choices.

“After having a procedure done in October I decided to wait and see how everything unfolded. I'm glad I did. Dr. CV is incredible, and his bedside manner is professional. He checked on me once I was home.
Alysha, West, Tierra, the Venus treatments young lady (sorry I forgot her name), and Cammie were more than I could have imagined. I thank them for their honesty, sincere concern, willingness to help by going above and beyond, and their advice. If I could, I'd adopt West and take him home. He is so genuine.
When I ran into issues regarding outcomes and missing items, Alysha put me in contact with Natalie. During our first conversation she was highly professional and more than willing to help resolve any and every problem. She even scheduled my next appointment that would include meeting with her and having a doctor comment on my concerns. Going further, she stated that if she was busy to let the front desk know that she is to be interrupted for my visit.
Well...
She was totally unavailable during the entire time I was there. Even the Venus treatment lady attempted to reach her during this last leg of my visit, to no avail. I informed all that, per Natalie, I was to see a doctor. This too was a bust because the doctor was no longer there.
Additionally, the nurse who did what was to be my final evaluation was less than any of the other nurses, at previous appointments. She didn't inform me of my status as it related to expected outcomes. AND! When it came to getting another "onesie", aka compression garment, they were completely out. She had the nerve to suggest buying a waist trainer. No. Again, I spent thousands at this establishment; this is included as it should be.
Here is where Tierra came into play. She ordered one and had it expedited to my home address. Great professionalism!
Back to Natalie...
With all that had failed, I reached out to Alysha again, expressing my disdain. Another appointment was scheduled for Natalie and a doctor.
On the morning of this scheduled appointment, Natalie called to cancel. She referred to a meeting that she had to attend. I only hope that it was a meeting focused on teaching her better office management skills. During this conversation, she came across as agitated and short. Heck, I'm the one out thousands of dollars and SHE'S upset? Ok.
After finally getting her to grasp that I was at the gym and unable to meet with her at an earlier time AND that being on the floor did not allow for me to have my schedule at hand, I advised that I would call back to schedule.
Oh! I mentioned the ordeal with the onesie, and Natalie tried to berate me for not calling the office in a timely manner, which I had. Over the course of 3 months, I continually reached out to Sono Bello regarding the missing garment.
Btw, today I received my 2nd garment. Hence, I have been wearing my first garment for 6 months. Daily washing has taken its toll on it. Thank God for the new one. (thank you West!)
While speaking to Natalie this last time, she told me that during our pending appointment, the doctor would NOT be present; this contradicts what she’d formerly advised. Now, as she explained, pictures will be taken, and my concerns documented. From there, it will be another 3 months before I am to be seen by the doctor. He will review the 6 months+ pictures and make medical judgements at that time.
With the love, care and concern I had received initially and continue to receive from those mentioned earlier, I've suggested this office to friends. Two of which are business owners and looking forward to having work done here. Now that would be a big, fat NO.
I would not put my enemies through this headache and lack of professional attention exhibited by Natalie. It's a shame that one person can darken a bright light, but she has done just that.
I too was strongly considering touch-up work, but for that, I couldn't even get a consultation. Looks like it was not in the cards for this place.”

“My Sono Bello Atlanta Experience.

I was welcomed by Tiera. She was pleasant she greeted me with a welcoming smile. Gave me my paperwork, offered me water and let me know that if I needed anything just ask and she was happy to help.

My consultation was with Jewel. She was very understanding, she listened to what I wanted and then we were able to come up with a plan. I never felt rushed about my decision. She knew what I wanted and we talked about my options and the rest was a go. I was given my date and the Physician who would perform my procedure.

Wesley (The “Concierge” is what I called him) was the next person I met. He has this really warm and inviting smile all the time and was just genuinely a person with a good heart. When I tell you this man was there for me. He said I could call him for anything and consistently said “ I’m here for you, you deserve what ever you desire”. It’s like he held my hand from the beginning until current. Every time I walked in the door or called the office, he knew who I was as soon as I said hello and I just felt like I mattered and he was there to help.

Brittany was my Pre-Op nurse. She was happy and bubbly, she went step by step as to what to expect. She allowed me to ask all the questions I had and I had so many.

The day of my procedure started out rough, it wasn’t the Sono Bello team, it was my personal life. At this time my nurse was Toni. This lady was sooo nice and professional. Her bed side manner were impeccable. I was having a rough start and was just beside myself with emotions. She listened to me and walked me through my anxiety and constantly reassuring me that it would all work out.

Finally I met Dr. Ward, the Physician. He was a hidden gem and boy was he nice on the eyes. I didn’t see many reviews on him, but the few I saw , confirmed that I was so blessed to have him. He was the best, he was patient, his bed side manners were oh my gracious. He saw my anxiety and we all held hands and he prayed. Almost an hour later, blessing started flowing. My surgery was a breeze, it wasn’t as painful as most of the reviews had me thinking. The whole team was there for me that day I even heard Wesley standing in for me. Dr. Ward even reached out to make sure I was well the next day and that he was here if I had any questions or concerns. Dr. Ward again was awesome and to have him was a blessing from God. So far my results are good.

What I must say to anybody thinking about having their procedure through Sono Bello, step out on faith. Do the research and trust your gut, you can’t always believe what you read. Everybody is different, every situation is different and the results are unique to the individual, because we’re all different. If I could do this all again the only change would be to do it sooner, with the team I had.

“This is a PSA to do your research! Facility, is clean and welcoming. Front desk staff amazing. However, “free” consultation is not accurate. I have had pervious surgeries completed and the experience has been completely different. Sono Bello team presents really well at first to acquire your business. However, the team is so large your in frequent contact with different people who tell you something different. At the end of the initial consultation you are charged a $500 deposit and rushed into selecting a date. HUGE MISTAKE!!!! My elderly mother was misinformed she did not realize her procedure would require incisions as the consultant kept referencing laser technology. After reviewing her documents I informed her of what this procedure would intel and she was not aware. So that her deposit was not a complete waste I decided to have a procedure in her place. Again, surface level everything went well. However, the information the Dr. Stated I was not ideal for lipo but with any surgery there are no certainties, so I decided to move forward. Until the day before my surgery the required meds as stated in contract “if you do not arrive with required meds your procedure will be canceled.” Nonetheless, this does not apply if it’s due to their negligence. I was told that meds would be provided and that I can wait on the prescription for pain meds to be sent and pick up afterwards. After expressing my concern with this I decided to not move forward and ok with forfeiting the deposit. However, not even a week later my elderly mom who was perviously misinformed was charged over $10k for a procedure she did not have or consent too. When she made her deposit copies of her ID and payment method were taken and used to authorize this transaction. In a world powered by beauty and the ideal of looking a certain way ladies and gents BEWARE!! You are talked into procedures and sold this fantasy all while they are preying on your desire to look a certain way. Prior to this complaint contacting the facility was a breeze! It’s been over a week and we are consistently being sent to the operator who continues to leave messages on our behalf without a call back. Initially I was told she would receive an immediate refund as this was a mistake. After 2 business days of no pending refund, I was then informed by another consultant that it was stated I had the procedure. Hilarious, I would definitely recall if I had lipo! Again, this was not my first time. My suggestion is use the other locations or a board certified Dr as this is Atlanta, they are not hard to find. Take time and do your research and DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PAYMENT information!!! If you have an older relative interested in services please accompany them to the appt. To throughly explain what is being said to them
So they are not taken advantage of in this manner.”

“Finally made the decision to get my stomach and back smaller. I’ve tried working out for years with no result. As I got older it became harder to shed the fat. When I came to Sono Bello, I was motivated to get the results I couldn’t get on my own.
I arrived at my consultation appointment and met the staff. They were friendly and welcoming. I was evaluated and discussed areas of concern. Once I was provided the cost, which I was already prepared for, there was no hesitation. From the moment I paid to the day of surgery, everything went smooth. On the day of surgery, I was a bit nervous but not for the procedure. I had no second thoughts about that. It was more so the pain I would have to endure during my recovery.
The day of surgery and my surgery went well. My doctor was wonderful. She kept me calm, relaxed, and I was awake during the procedure. The nurses were also wonderful.

Post surgery recovery and visits were great and the staff continued to greet me with warmth and care. It’s been three months and I’m over joyed with my results. I still have some swelling but it’s expected for a little while longer. My cloths fit me better. My stomach is flat. And my self confidence and self esteem is higher. I would recommend sono Bello Atlanta to anyone seeking a little help getting their body back to how it was pre-LIFE. It was money well spent.”

“When I first came to Sonobella everybody was friendly and Liz the consultant that waited on me I was very good. Since then I have tried to get in touch with Liz five or more times by phone was put on hold for extended amounts of time because she wouldn’t come to the phone and also told that my problem could be handled when I come in for surgery. My issue was some health concerns that I needed to discuss and also to change my plan. The fact that she did not return one call was really a red flag for me. I also made an appointment to go and see her at 11 AM on a Tuesday and I stayed until 1 PM and never saw her nor did she come out to say I’m busy or acknowledge that I was there. No one acknowledged until I wanted to cancel so I did When I called back to check on the status of the refund I was told that Liz will give me a call back within the hour. She never called back I ended up calling back six hours later and spoke with her but her attitude was condescending as if it was a problem for her to speak to me. If I had to rate Sonobella I would rate the customer service of the representatives who represent these accounts mainly Liz zero because she doesn’t have customer service after she makes the sale. I advise anyone coming in to make sure that you feel comfortable even if you’ve paid for it because your life could depend on it. A thumbs up to the customer service team at the front desk I know you all work hard I can see it on your faces but you’re doing a good job covering up for those representatives that don’t want to deal with their customers.”

My lipo 360 was not worth the 14k I paid. The only thing different is the scar. At first it seemed like there was a difference but once you stop wearing the garment there is nothing different. The initial garment i received was too big. I ended up having to purchase my own garments. For the money i paid here, i feel like the results should have been better.

I purchased the venus treatment package based on my consultation and who were going to perform the treatments. I was lied to and this place is not consistent. “Unfortunately I did not listen to the negative reviews when I should have. The claims about the employees luring you in with niceness is true (everyone was very pleasant to speak with up to the procedure), but what I was told during my consultation was a lie. Everything that was supposed to be removed was not as I had a few areas worked on. The follow up communication is non existent unfortunately especially for post op which I find terrible. I still have fat that was supposed to be removed in my abdomen, lower belly & bra role area. I paid over 7k & I was very unpleased that my results were no where near visible and I have hard skin since I was not informed of needing post massages afterwards either. The garments given do not fit people of color as I eventually had to buy & have my own customized since the ones provided were cutting off circulation to my legs. I went in a week later and spoke to a nurse about it & she even told me these aren’t for women of color and had to cut one up for me to barely fit into. I now have 3 garnets from you all that don’t fit in different sizes. If I’m paying for a service and post op care I expect things to fit properly as that’s included in the payment. My doctor was very knowledgeable & nice but I’m starting to see the common thing here is you guys not removing all of the fat & causing folks to go through the financial & physical pain again…that’s just criminal. I find it unbelievable after putting that type of stress on my body that there are no visible changes from since before & now 7 months after surgery. I am not one to sit around, this is me working out more & changing my diet. I honestly feel robbed & lied to. Especially since when showed pictures from my consultation and told this is what I can expect are false, I still look the same when I walked in as I do now. The only difference is now I have incision scars all over my body. Unless they fix management & truly start giving satisfactory work and learn this is not an one size fits all situation I would never refer this place.”

“Sono Bello pays it patients to remove bad reviews. The high rating is false!
Please read all of the reviews regarding this organization on other platforms such as BBB and Yelp. I received Liposuction in October of 2021 and my mother in September of 2021 and our experi are identical.

The procedure I am 70% happy with. The surgeon and nurse were nice during the procedure and accommodating. I feel I have physically not recovered as I would like but the procedure is the least of my complaints. Administratively the team and the corporate organization are terrible.

Pre operatively: The wait times are insane. For a 30 second covid test I waited 45 mins. The consultation is speedy and informative, but of course that is to get you signed up and scheduled. Everything else is downhill.
Post operatively: The wait is the same, I waited almost 53 mins for a 5 minute visit of pictures only. The appointment times will be secured before you leave but I was rescheduled 5 times due to the lack of staff and organization. I received one appointment at the front desk and then the text confirmation would be different and the actual time would be completly different than both.

The most disgusting part is that I provided a review of my experience at the staff's request and received a call from a rep from SonoBello names Lisa. Lisa is nice generally and listens to your complaints, however, they attempt to later "resolve" it by offering you something free if you remove your honest and "negative" review. This is upsetting because if you truly cared about your patient's the review wouldn't be the concern. I refuse to sign the legal document and remove the review so now they are not offering the free service. Correlation there.
Not to mention, my mother was diagnosed with an infection post operatively which resulted in her spending a half day in the ER to resolve it. When she communicated this with the Sono Bello as instructed the doctor felt it was no concern and said it's probably the flu.

If you care at all about your health and a decent customer experience please go somewhere else.”

“Here is my review:

After doing lots of research on liposuction surgery, I decided on Sono Bello Atlanta, with the expectation of getting the best for my investment.

While the surgery itself was bearable, my concerns mostly revolves around the aftercare.

I believe Sono Bello has dropped the ball. Upon my 1 week post op I was informed that the garment I was provided was too big for me, I was told this was an issue that happened often for women of color. It was not providing the proper support and compression I needed for after my surgery. This made sense as the pain I experienced the first week was quite intense. The second garment provided was still in my opinion too big for my torso, yet it was too tight for my thighs. This resulted in my having to spend additional funds (several hundred dollars) trying to find a garment that meets my physical needs, which I have been unsuccessful. This is something I believe should have been the responsibility of Sono Bello, to ensure the proper garments are provided. I was also not shown the before and after pictures to ensure the areas I paid for were successfully treated (that’s still up for debate, I’m not sure if one of the areas was actually touched).

During my appointment, I also inquired about the lymphatic drainage massages (which I was told was included at consultation)… I was informed that they were not available until after 3 months. This is shocking considering the importance of lymphatic draining for rapid and proper healing. Again, I had to spend additional funds to seek lymphatic massages outside of the Sono Bello company.

All in all, I am disappointed at the level of care provided post operation. I invested a lot of money for this procedure and I do not believe Sono Bello is interested in protecting the patients investment or making sure that each patient gets the proper post op care, but only securing its bottom line.

I insist that Sono Bello (Atlanta) rectify these concerns and that they consider reevaluating post op care for their current and future patients.”

“Toni the nurse is excellent. She is really sweet, patient and thorough. We met and talked during my post op visit.
Dr. Betuzzi was very thorough and patient during my pre op and the surgery. She explained everything very well and checked on me personally after I got home.
I am very disappointed in administration. I’ve been rescheduled over 5 times in 5 months just because of the staffing issues with the aesthetician. It’s very disappointing and frustrating because each time I’m taking off work and readjusting my schedule. My appointments via text would say one thing but then when I call to confirm it always different. Clinically I am very pleased but administratively and managerially I am disappointed.”

“I had my surgery two days ago
I made an appt several times and then canceled after reading the negative reviews. This time I decided to go to my appt.
During the consultation, all of my questions were answered. Dr Betuzzi and her staff were awesome. Dr Betuzzi even told me that everyone pain levels are different, so I may experience some pain. During the surgery I did experience some pain but it was short lived. It was like a pinch here and there. Before I knew it, the procedure was over and my fiancée was taking me home. The first night the pain was the worst. The second night wasn’t as bad. Dr Betuzzi, texted me the next day to see how I was doing. I’ve learned that having liposuction has very different variables for it to completely work. You have to follow the Drs orders for sure. The belt feels very tight but that’s to keep the swelling down. I slept the whole day of surgery once I was home but the very next day, I start walking around. I’m sure that weight is a factor as well. As I read about liposuction, it’s not supposed to be a weight loss procedure nor is it supposed to be an instant results. It takes months for a complete heal. Im 5’ 4” and weight 138 pds. I didn’t have the surgery for the weight loss, I had it do to body showing the results of me having 3 kids. I had the muffin top as well as the bra rolls and stomach. I’ll check in in a few months to see how my healing process is going. Keep in mind that it’s hard to go by reviews because every body bodies are different.

“I thought this was going to be a great experience! Well it hasn't! I had my procedure done at the end of December. Dr.V seemed so knowledgeable and caring. Told me she could achieve the goals I wanted and well 8 months post op I don't see much difference. Definitely could've taken out more fat on my upper and lower abdomen and sides. I am from out of state and so some of my post op appointments I asked to be virtual if possible. Well for the one's they said ok to they either called well after my schedule appointment time or just didn't call at all. I am now STILL waiting on a virtual appointment that was scheduled for August 19th! That is so unprofessional. With the type of money people pay for these procedures it's a shame. Mind you traveling expenses as well for me. I should have had my procedure done elsewhere but I chose them thinking it was the best fit, it wasn't! Please do NOT waste your money!”
