“I am so thankful for the team at Sono Bello Milwaukee in the Brookfield office. From the beginning consultation with Jessica all the way through my first procedure. Dr. Martin and Sharimah were so down to earth and personable. We laughed and chatted during the process and they are just real people which these days is a rarity. I would go out and have lunch or coffee with them anytime. As for the medical treatment, Dr. Martin is truly an artist at her craft. She looked at my body and saw where to make the changes and what that would look like in the future. Sharimah talked me through each part of the process and never left my side. Seriously so thankful for you ladies and I’m not even finished yet. I will be posting more of course after the whole thing is finished. I was so pleased with my experience and honestly during the procedure it really didn’t hurt. That might not be true for everyone but this is my review so I am being sure to say that. It was like Dr. Martin knew how to touch and work and apply pressure. Like I said, Artist at her craft! After the procedure at home yesterday was more pain then during the whole procedure. I can already tell when getting up this morning and walking around that the pain is lessening. Tylenol and Arnica is really helping me! “From my first consult visit to my procedure day, everyone at Sono Bello was great, and so friendly. Jessica's compassion and great concern for my needs was so comforting.
I had my Upper and Lower Abs, hips, and waist done. On the day of my procedure, my two nurses were so sweet. Shay made me feel at ease from the moment she greeted me. I would say the procedure itself was very painful. I was given some pills to ease the pain less than 10-15 minutes before the doctor came in to perform the procedure. I felt pretty much everything. Shay never let go of my hand throughout the procedure and tried to comfort me. Dr. Gourley also was very attentive to my pain. I would say the medications should be given at least an hour or half hour before a procedure like this. The pain post-procedure is pretty intense for about a day or two and then it just hurts as I try to stand or sit. All in all I am very happy with my result one week post- procedure. I hope that once the swelling goes down, I will see more better results. I can't wait for my Post- Procedure visit. Thank you to my team at Sono Bello.”

“From the consultation with Stacey, to the pre-op appointment with Dr. Gourley and Tennile to my transformation day with Dr. Gourley and Gabe to my post op appointment with Tiffany and Jessica, I had an amazing experience with Sonobello.

Dr. Gourley really listened to me and made great suggestions to help me achieve my goals including life style modifications and what realistic outcomes would look like for me.

The nursing staff answered all questions and even went above and beyond by sending me links to purchase additional compression garments to help with my recovery! Everyone made the process seamless and I would recommend all of the staff at Sonobello.

The procedure itself was a bit more painful than I anticipated but Gabe and Dr. Gourley did everything they could to keep me comfortable and safe. The recovery has been very smooth for me. I was well prepared for everything recovery entailed and will continue to follow recovery instructions.

“Every time I went to the office for scheduled appointments I had to wait over 3 hrs to be seen. I paid over $7000 to have liposuction done and the day I was supposed to have the procedure done, they cancelled because my blood pressure was high in the office, probably because I was anxious about the procedure. When I got home it was 120/80. They they never told me I would be on IV vasopressors during the procedure. I am a cardiac nurse and took my own blood pressure in the office to double check and the nurse who was with me was very rude and told me I should not be taking my own blood pressure. That is absurd, of course you can take your own blood pressure. Anyway, I had to start a new job working 12 hour shifts and would not be able to take time off again to recover from the procedure so here I am out over $1000 for the nonrefundable deposit with a lot of time wasted. The Milwaukee Sono Bello office is unprofessional, does a poor job preparing the patient for the procedure, and clearly does not care to respect your time or hard-earned money saved for this procedure. Very disappointing. I don’t know how you can trust a company to do a good job changing how you look when they can’t even treat you right during the work up.”

And no one talked about part of recovery you will need “lipo foam” to help keep the area’s smooth with all the swelling. I feel like they want you to see that yes on the ought site it’s minimally evasive. No one tells you the true reality of recovery ❤️‍🩹 the swelling, discomfort, disfigurement. You need to massage and all the right compression materials….its not just the garment…. You need to pay for all these accessories to aide in the process. “Overall: I am not happy with the results based on what I was promised I would get. I do think I look better, but not different enough for what I paid. Go somewhere else.

Consultation: My consultation was in Feb 2023 and went well and the girl was really nice, but she basically promised me I would leave with a flat stomach but might have a little loose skin. I didn't think I'd leave with my perfect body, but her saying this made me think I would look completely different after the procedure. I wanted my hips, waist, upper abdomen, and lower abdomen done. When I got the price check, I asked to skip the waist because I didn't want to pay that much and I wasn't super unhappy with my waist to begin with, and they offered to give me that area for free so that was awesome. I ended up agreeing and scheduling my procedure for May 2023.

Fast forward to April 2023 I get a call that the doctor will not be there on the date of my surgery and I have to reschedule. Mind you, my job was not flexible at all with my scheduling and I had already taken off on the days I needed and couldn't easily change that around. I was extremely upset and mad. Why would they even schedule me for a date that the doctor would not be there? They gave me 2 options: reschedule, or go to a different location in Illinois on my original date, and I could not cancel and get my money back. I already live ~40 minutes north of Brookfield, and I was appalled they would expect me to make a 3 hour drive there and back to Illinois for this procedure, especially having to be in a car for 3 hours after having a surgery done. I finally settled on rescheduling for my birthday, when I was already off of work but had plans, so I had to cancel all my birthday weekend plans. They scheduled my pre-op appointment for my actual birthday, the day before the procedure which I also thought was odd being so close to the procedure.

Pre-op: They called me the day before my pre-op appointment and asked me to come at 5pm instead of my scheduled time which was around 11 am. I said absolutely not. You have already messed up my entire scheduling with this procedure, messed up my birthday plans, I am not coming to a pre-op appointment on my birthday at 5pm last minute. I ended up being able to keep my original pre-op time. At the actual appointment, the nurse or whatever they are, kept telling me how some people can't handle the pain of the procedure after I had already said I was nervous. Why would you tell someone who is already nervous that some people can't handle it... After speaking with the doctor I was told I would have pain meds and some other meds sent to the pharmacy that I needed to pick up before the procedure so that I could have them immediately after. I waited all day for them to send the prescriptions and even called twice, and they still didn't send them.

Procedure day: On the morning of the procedure I still did not have my prescriptions. I was extremely anxious about this because I was already nervous and now knowing I don't have any pain meds to take right after if I need them, I was just really upset. I called multiple times that morning begging them to send the prescriptions so I could pick them up before my procedure. They NEVER!! sent them before. They kept telling me I would be fine if I didn't have them for a few hours, but I was just uncomfortable not having them in case I needed them. They finally sent them during my procedure, to the wrong pharmacy, and my mom had to pick them up. While I'm waiting for her to get the meds after I got home, I was in excruciating pain and had to wait to take any meds because of their delay.

At the actual procedure, the doctor kept acting like I was crazy when I said I was uncomfortable and needed more numbing. He kept showing me the buckets of the fat and blood that was sucked out of me even after I told him to please stop showing me that because I was already nervous and uncomfortable and seeing that was making me nauseous and lightheaded. He kept showing me multiple times. I have really large scars on my stomach.”

I had two procedures, one for my waist, one for my inner thighs.
Gabe my pre-op nurse also very friendly thoroughly explained everything to me so I knew exactly what I was going to go through and what to expect.
My nurse Tiffany for the first procedure and Nicole for the second were both wonderful. They took very good care of me and stayed with me the entire time and even brought me out to the car to make sure I was safe.
Dr. Martin is my doctor. She uses her medical expertise like a sculptor. She is very caring and made sure I would not feel any pain or discomfort. She personally called me the next morning to check on me! I will highly recommend Dr. Martin, her staff and the Brookfield location.

“This is my story, along with personal opinions: five stars for the actual procedure & Dr. Shehadi only, not for other aspects of my experience:

I and my husband arrived for my procedure (abdomen, abex, hips, some back fat…) on a Monday morning at 7AM. We went in to the exam room which was too cold (I needed a blanket on and my sweatshirt jacket, as I was shaking before my IV was started); one nurse had trouble starting it; another nurse was able to start it on my left hand. Thankfully there were two nurses there and at least one was able to get the IV started successfully; I think the coldness of the room was a deterrent to starting the IV without problems. They had also weighed me and took pictures. The procedure went well but was uncomfortable. I guess the procedure went as it was supposed to, according to Dr. Shehadi who was nice and encouraging throughout. Afterward, they explained my post-op plan, drugs, etc., got me into the compression garment, and I went home, my husband driving and who would take care of me the first day and after work throughout the next six days or so.
The compression garment was horrible - black w hooks and eyes - too hard for my husband to put it on me, very hard to see the eyes with his hands in the way trying to hold it together; hard to stuff padding down into it (to absorb leakage) as we put it on, especially with it being black. I think one w a zipper would’ve been better, and not black but nude.
I ended up being extremely constipated by Wednesday afternoon; I think the garment, being so tight on my bottom didn’t help this problem, either. This was the worst I’ve ever been constipated (they said due to the narcotics), and I’ve had many operations before this, without this kind of constipation. I stopped taking hydrocodone pills that day. I had to stop wearing the corset that day, too, b/c I had to try to go to the bathroom. (Yet I understand the need of some kind of compression garment to help w healing from this type of procedure. I had more pain and discomfort without the corset, but it couldn’t be helped.)
This was the most horrible experience. :( With the help of every kind of constipation aid you could think of, by Wed. PM, Thurs. PM, and Friday - Sunday, I was able to go but just a little. I was still constipated by Monday. Dr. Shehadi texted me over the weekend to give me more info on how to fight through this constipation, which was helpful & very nice of him.

(Inserting this here, as I can’t seem to write below here on my phone: I think people having this procedure need to be warned more, verbally, not just sign/initial a bunch of papers, the possible extreme constipation they may face, the major swelling around the midsection, how long it may take to recover, and never give them black corsets w hooks & eyes. However, Dr. Shehadi is very good and he cares, and I would have another procedure done by him: neck, chin, upper arm fat/upper back fat near the shoulders, inner thigh fat. Even tho’ he does many of these procedures, he seems to care about the individual and giving her/him the best result possible.)

This past Monday at post-op, I saw the nurse who weighed me, took pictures, took stitches out of my belly button area, and got me a new corset, no hooks or eyes or zipper, in nude, that you just pull up. This was a major improvement! I wear it without fail (it really helps w discomfort around my midsection because of a huge amount of swelling there) w my comfy cotton underpants over it and can pull down the whole works when I need to go to the bathroom. I pull it up and adjust it when I’m done.”

Gosh I cannot rave enough about her person-ability during the consult! I can’t remember the nurses name that I had for my pre-op but it is a bit odd working with a nurse who “wears” a mask below the nose. Either wear a mask as it should be worn or don’t wear it at all. Medical professionals shouldn’t have to be told this by patients. My Dr. Dr. Muecke, was a bit rushed during my pre-op visit which had me questioning if she was “right” for me. I went forth with the surgery and my nurse for the surgery was absolutely wonderful! Ashley was filling in from a different location so unfortunately for her things were a bit scattered/unorganized from what she was used to at her normal location but she was seriously amazing to work with and I feel the Dr and her jived well together even though this was their first time working together! Dr. Muecke the day of the surgery was great. I enjoy working with a Dr that keeps everything real. She definitely knows her business and doesn’t sugar coat anything which I prefer in my doctors.
So far I’m pleased with my experience and am now awaiting to see my results!”

“It is always hard not to be skeptical of a procedure at a place in which you have not heard of an experience from close friends or family.

But I jumped right in, and could not be any happier with how things went at this location. The staff is incredible, especially the nurses and medical personnel. They made the situation super comfortable and answered any and all questions during pre-op and post-op. When I had questions post-op, it was very easy to get a nurse to call me back. Also, my doctor was great and so willing to listen to any concerns! He was fantastic in and out of the operating room, had a great bed side manner in addition to his vast knowledge, capability and experience.

We talked about the different options. And then the cost. It actually was less than I expected. The nurses I had at my 2nd appointment were exceptional but only 3 stars because my last procedure and preoperative appointment was lacked the real education on what to expect after procedure. I believe I would have completely changed my mind and never had liposuction if I was properly educated on the real expectations for postoperative pain, lumps under the skin, and how long it takes to see results. “I was very skeptical when my husband suggested to go for a consultation. It took us months to finally drop the bomb and make the appointment. I don’t regret anything. At first I was like what was I thinking, but it’s the end results that count. I’m 12 inches totally smaller. I have a flat abdomen that I haven’t seen since I was 30 and I’m 60 now. “I am 2 weeks out post op. My first 3 days to a week was very painful. I was not expecting to be in so much pain, worse than having a c-section. I was in tears my first week thinking I made the biggest mistake. But as the time went on, I am feeling much better. The staff at this location have been wonderful from Rachel- Patient Coordinator, the assisting nurses Shakina, Mackenzie & Mindy. My post op nurse Tiffany that basically talked me off the ledge in how I was feeling. All of these ladies have been fabulous to talk to & get answers from. The swelling has gone down significantly, I am starting the see the amazing work that Dr. Shehadi did. I have been told he is amazing & he is a just as OCD as I am. lol. Using the lipo foam & lipo roller this past week has really helped as well. I am seeing good results & have turned my frown upside down. Dont know if I would say it was worth all the pain at this point. It was pretty bad, I typically have a high pain tolerance as well. This 1 threw me in a tizzy! Let's just say, I wouldn't do it again. :)”

“So as a current patient 1 month post procedure I have to warn you about the phoniness of the staff, not all but a few especially the management staff.
Everyone here is extremely polite, caring and friendly until they get your money then every thing changes.
I was sized incorrectly 2x and given garments that gave me absolutely no compression. I waited until my appointments to bring it up because texting doesn’t work as well as they claim it does, anyway to make a long story short after spending $14000 on my procedure I was told by clinic manager “GoGo” that even though they did incorrectly size me because I didn’t say so right away that I would have to purchase my own garments.
I thought this was their job to make sure everything fit properly before I was rushed out after surgery still bleeding everywhere.
If they had done it right the first time I would have went home in the correct size and been mailed a smaller size in the mail like was supposed to happen, instead after paying $14000 I have had no compression for a month and no one cares, now I have to spend more money to purchase garments that fit me correctly and hope that too much damage hasn’t already been done 1 month in.

The Representative changed it for 345pm, got my friends information and all so that we both be seen on the same day. I told her the whole time change purpose was for 2 people. She said the person only had time for one and that was it. I will not be using these services because of lack of communication. The fact that things are written down and done on the internet definitely leaves a paper trail and if there are 3rd party services being used, they should definitely make sure they are going over what is being said for potential clients. It is a matter of respect for peoples private information at risk. This was a big red flag for me.”

“Thank you so much Tiffany (RN) and Dr. Muecke. This was the best decision I have made in years. I want to share with you all the four phases of my experience at Sono Bello. First phase “consultation“ (first visit): I was going into this with the thought I was going to be sucked into or forced buying a “timeshare” aka liposuction (upper, lower abs, and waist) The first visit was in Madison. It went very well and they answered all my questions. I walked out not signing anything or committing to anything, it was truly no pressure. The price for me was shocking at first (I make $35,000 a year with poor credit). I went home and made the decision I going to make this happen. Second phase (second visit) I signed the agreement and went through everything slowly. Very easy to understand (everyone was so knowledgeable) Third phase (third visit) I went into my pre operation and had my surgery a week later. I was worried I would not get the results I wanted. The surgery went really awesome. I had the best Dr, RNs, and staff one could ask for. We jammed out to music while surgery was being contacted. Let me tell you, the dentist office is way worse by 10Xs. Fourth phase: recovery. Im on day 3 so far. Pain has never really gotten over a scale of 3 out of 10. It’s not bad at all. I think everyone is different but just follow the instructions you are given. I lost so much weight already and crazy amount of inches. Im so happy with my results and it’s just the start. I see a massive instant difference. They tell me it’s only going to get better over the next few weeks. 100% zero regrets.”

“Poor service. Went 6 minutes late for appt as I was going from work and this office does not have clear directions inside the building. Receptionist says not sure we can see you today. She was already rude. Then she sits there for 4 minutes telling me that she must find out if I can even go in. After 4 minutes she gets up and goes to the back . Comes back saying we cannot see you. I said for 6 minutes … even regular doctors are not picky. Then she starts arguing that we ask that you be here 15 minutes before. I said I was not informed about coming 15 minutes prior else o would have. After driving 45 minutes from other side of town went back. I went back to work and as I talked about this with some work colleagues I was informed that one another person had same ditto issue. And yes the office was all empty so I am not sure what was the reason for not seeing me, We are guessing this is because they do not have staff or worse they are in trouble. Anyways taking my business to better professionals. I suggest you do that too.”

I walked in for my appointment and was greeted by nothing but smiles and reassurance that everything was going to be ok. I arrived at the back room and got dressed and prepped for surgery. And every step of the way I had the nurses and Doctor Muecke explaining every part of the process and answering every possible question I had. I am a male that has a few tattoos, and let me be honest. The procedure was less painful than a small tattoo, which was so shocking to me. I am extremely pleased with the procedure and the professionalism of everyone I met that day, and can’t recommend them enough. Absolutely 10/10 and I honestly can’t thank all of them enough. By the way, when you go into surgery it’s not your typical environment, the doctor informs you of everything and answers your questions the second you ask them. I hope you like a great setting because I never thought I would say I had a fun time in surgery but I did. I highly recommend Katy Perry as we all had a blast singing it together. “I took time off during my busy work schedule to go to my consultation which was booked May 17th at 12:45pm. I got there 15 minutes early, as requested by the e-mail, filled out my paperwork and turned in all my forms at 12:45. I then was informed that the employee doing the consult was finishing up and that I had one person ahead of me. I then asked how long the consult is and was told anywhere from 30-45 minutes. So even though I got there on time, I would have to wait 30-45 minutes for the woman before me, plus an additional 30-45 minutes for my consultation- which would put me at about 1.5 hours just in the office, not including the 15 minute drive to and from the location to my home. I left, because again I was taking time out of my work day and was not aware I would be gone 2 hours, for an appointment that I had scheduled at 12:45. Needless to say it was very rude and unprofessional of wasting a potential paying customers time. I will be fixing my body, how it has been working for me diet and exercise. I am convinced this is a scam to try and get people's money. A company like this should have more than one person performing consults, and should be on time or at least within a 15 minute window.”

I booked My consultation early December and got an email confirmation that my appointment on January 5th was set to go! I had to drive there from Madison which was an hour and 30 minutes away, and also take time off work for this appointment and also put miles on my brand new BMW that I lease to make this appointment. I get there and am told that their contact center has been trying to contact me to tell me that they are no longer taking in person consultations due to COVID19. I had no voicemails, no texts, and no emails of this. So I basically wasted my time and took time off of work to make this appointment and was not compensated at all. The woman behind me was there for an appointment as well and was not notified of the cancellation. Very unprofessional. I usually do not make reviews but this one really upset my day. I spoke with someone over the phone and the prices for lipo in the stomach area is ridiculous. They do not offer lipo 360. I really Wish someone could have called me and did this pointless consultation over the phone in the first place! They did not care about my business.”

I lost 2 inches on each arm, but some skin needs to be removed, which I was informed after the fact they don't offer skin removal for arms. “Where to start... first off I had my under chin done and looks ABSOLUTELY no different. They guarantee free revisions within a year. At my 6 month check up I expressed that I would like it revised. The lady that had seen me said no problem and walked me out. As I was walking out I was asking if I need to set up an appointment at the desk or if I should call and she replied no that’s fine .... weeks went by and I received no call back or emails. I called back numerous times to try and set up an appointment and keep getting told I will get a callback. Never did I receive a call back. I had spoken to three different people and was assured I would get a call back each time. Again never did I receive a call back . I finally set an appointment and we agree to have it revised and conveniently the person to set up the appointment was busy. And I was told he would reach out to me. Did he reach out to me? No. Of course not. So I called again to speak with him and he is busy again. Very very unpleased with this office and how they do business. I feel like they are trying to keep delaying it until I am past the due date to have it revised . I am to the point where I will drive to the next state and have it done. I feel like they may be more professional and I may actually see results this time.”

Called to cancel my procedure on 11/08/19 and spoke with Fannie after hours to cancel my procedure, this was 72 hours after. They still swiped my card on 500.00 on the 11/12/19, 5 days after I cancel. According to Sara I could not get a refund but they also would not transfer my 500.00 dollar credit to someone else. “I went in on a Thursday for my free consult , and they scheduled my surgery 13 days later, but still swiped my credit card for $6,900 the very same day of the consult. 48 hours later I asked for a refund on Saturday, and the receptionist said sure my refund will take 7 days to appear on my statement, but the sales person will probably be calling me to follow up. The sales person called on the Monday and said they are keeping $995 of the $6,900 because I cancelled within 2 weeks of the surgery. I was planning to consider using them in the future, but now no way in hell. They seem to need that $995 more than me so OK then you can keep it if it makes or breaks your business that badly but here is a 1 Star review. Please do not give them your credit card information the day of your free consult. They will charge it right away. Wait until your actual appointment for the surgery.”

“I am 3 months post op of my laser liposuction with Sono Bello and my surgeon was Dr. Brian Strand. I finally looked in the mirror one last time in July 2019 & decided as the consult is free, I wanted my muffin top gone! I did go in knowing the general pricing for "getting rid of my muffin top". Sono Bello was pretty darn close to any other liposuction doctor out there in the St. Paul/MPLS area. I was advised I was going to have laser liposuction & information on that procedure was given to me, multiple before and after photos on this procedure, I was made more confident I wanted this for myself. THIS IS NOT A WEIGHT LOSS program, if YOU put food in your mouth You have to wear it off.. This is a life altering event, yes its surgery & I was informed 110% on how the procedures would be done. 10 lbs of fat is the legal limit on how much can be removed on one date. I was right at 10 lbs & was told should there be more than what my measurements show, I would have to come back for a 2nd surgery. Dr. Strand met with me & my husband a week after my consult, he sat with us over an hour explaining things, answering questions, & reexplaining things. I was completely made aware of what was to come. I also ordered body garments to assist in my healing, the RN on staff standing at my side this whole meeting was very informative & helpful, giving me great tips on what to expect day of, day after & following days of the surgery. Listen to them because a shower curtain vs a puppy pad made a huge difference upon my first night of leaking fluids from my 7 incisions. Not to mention medications needed & their timeline is important.
My husband was on board the entire time, when I was ready to get on my feet 24 hours after my surgery I wasn't able to get up off the bed. My abs were just stripped from the fat on them thus they were extremely sore. He had to pull me up by my arms the first 48 hours. I was healing fast as I was able to get up slowly on my own after 48 hours & yes I was in pain! YES liposuction does leave the area treated sore & needs to heal itself. Every person is different & heals at their own pace. So those who go back to work the next day well they didn't have 10 lbs of fat cells taken from their body. I went back to work a week later & was very careful as I was in pain & couldn't take pain meds while working. Everyday I did notice I was healing though. Its amazing!
I was swollen for 2 months, then my pants were falling off my body. Yes for real! I saw the difference in my stomach the 2nd day of post op, but now I see a completely different waist line & the appearance is just so pleasing! I still have soreness 3 months later. But its nothing compared to the first month of healing!
I have started my 3rd week of trail running! SItups are a definite no as my stomach area is still a bit sore & theres minimal swelling yet. But I am back to my workouts that I couldn't do pre op! I was too heavy. Again this isn't a weight loss program as I am only 10-11 lbs lighter. I am 4 sizes smaller in pants & look amazing. Everyone I have talked to at Sono Bello Edina has been professional, caring, knowledgeable, honest, & has answered all my questions. They have been in contact & available since the day I walked in my consult, no pressure was given. I am 150% pleased !”

“I’ve seen the commercials for ‘Sono Bello’ several times on TV and after today’s advertisement made the call to set up a consultation appointment for later in the afternoon, same day. Everyone that I had talk ed to from the call center, to the receptionist at the desk and with Jessica, the ‘consultant’ were all very personable. I enjoyed the time spent , during the consultation period with Jessica and I can assure you that she did a very thorough discussion with a physical assessment, discussed preop/postop expectations, the surgical procedure that I’ll be undergoing; and she gave me a brief tour of the surgical side of the office. I have the advantage of understanding everything that Jessica talked about given that I was both a civilian and Army Nurse, now retired. I have a very diverse background in nursing with a heavy concentration in Med-Surg nursing and I’ve been both the care giver and the patient numerous times. My mind is at ease. Currently they have their ‘employee special’ in progress, to defray from the costs. I recommend calling now to take advantage of their promotion. I, also, assure you that Jessica does not do a ‘hard pressure sell ‘, either! My preop and surgical dates are set and a postop visit is included. Per Jessica, if for whatever reason, I am not satisfied with the results, I may have the procedures done again at ‘no charge’. At 65 years of age, I looking forward to meeting Dr. Raine and I am eager to undertake this latest adventure in my life. I rate today’s experience a solid 5! - Major (Ret.) Cheri L. R.

“I can’t even explain how UNPROFESSIONAL this place is!!!!!!!!! First of all, my mom had Sono Bello done last year, 2018 and it didn’t work so she kept calling and calling and kept getting up hung on or was told someone would call her back and they NEVER did! And she also emailed different people trying to get ahold of someone higher up to speak to and I believe they gave her the presidents name which is Philip and even he was ignoring her emails. They just keep stealing her money!!!!! She’s doesn’t over 8k there!!!! And she was just there the other day, her surgery was scheduled for 3pm and she didn’t get called back until about 545pm......I went back with her and when I was back there a girl with blonde spiky hair gave her an iv and also have her medication to calm down and other medications to make her loopy. Right before giving her the iv and medication though, they checked her heart rate and blood pressure...both were somewhat high but who’s wouldn’t be before a procedure. My mom explained to the girl that she was told not to take ANY of her medications before her procedure so she didn’t take one really important one, her high blood pressure medicine..the iv girl even went over the medications with my mom beforehand and she’s like ohhh you’ll be fine. So they gave her Xanax and an antibiotic and some other nausea medication to make her loopy..after being there 4 1/2 hours, I decided to leave for awhile.meamwhile, I get a text saying that right once I left the room, they asked her to pay...WHAT KIND OF UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE MAKES YOU PAY FIR YOUR PROCEDURE AFTER YOUVE BEEN GIVEN MEDICINE THAT MAKES YOU DROWSY!!!!!!????????
IT GETS WORSE..so I left and around 8pm I get a calm from my mom saying ‘they can’t do it, my blood pressures too high?’ Okay, ummmm. It wouldn’t have been if they would’ve TOLD HER TO TAKE HER BLOOD PRESSURE medication!!!!! Oh and to add the cherry on top, they told this to my mom AFTER they already cleaned her skin, with I’m assuming iodine AND after 6 hours of waiting there!!!!!!!!!!!
Here some more things that make me think this place is unprofessional- my mom overheard the doctor say to someone else in the hall ‘which bar tonight?’ Wow. What a doc!
Another reason why this place just wants your money-they don’t answer calls, emails, or anything, they don’t care at all as long as they get their money.
As far as the blood pressure thing goes, I’m glad they didn’t do it if it was ACTUALLY high because I know what could’ve happened but weird that I checked it when I got home and her blood pressure was normal.
WHAT THE NURSE SHOULD HAVE DONE WAS COME IN AFTER SHE GAVE MY MOM THE XANAX TO SEE IF HER SLIGHTLY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE LOWERED...if not, it would’ve saved us ALL many hours!!!! They wasted our whole day and they also scammed another 3k from her!!!!!!!! Anyone who gets procedures done here are CRAZY! It’s not worth it! Save your money and travel to a plastic surgeon that actually cares about your results THIS PLACE DOESNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Call that number” Lisa is terrible, she told my mom she could get another surgery from the “ satisfactory surgery” but, Lisa also gave my mom the run around. She doesn’t work there any more. Thank god. But then after even more months of calling, whoever replaced Lisa, made my mom an appointment. I went with her, super nice guy, Kevin is his name. They got her to a price that was....doable, i suppose. My mom made the appointment for today (8-30-19) went to the appointment with my sister (i couldn’t go because i had to work but they should be very glad it was my sister and not me! 😡😡😡😡😡) her appointment was at 3! She showed up. Three hours later, nothing. She waited. 840pm comes along and she got told they couldn’t do it. They were super unprofessional all day, says my sister. My mom and my sister waited in that waiting room for almost 6 hours!!!!! Like are you kidding me?!?? WHAT A WASTE OF DAY! Mind you, we also live an hour away! Complete and udder bull sh!t. Wouldn’t recommend to ANYONE. Such scam artists!!! How do these people live with themselves knowing that they screw up people’s lives?!? I don’t understand. This place needs to just stop. This place should be shut down. Now my mom is going to be depressed just like she was after the first surgery! Way to go, sono shit. That’s what your name should be. “This was a waste of time and money. I had upper and lower abs done. The doctor did not remove fat evenly and my stomach is now deformed. The "enhancement" was only offered during the middle of the week which would require extra time off from work, and I was offered a non-disclosure and a medical waiver stating it was more dangerous the 2nd time, and I would be unable to complain if I was still dissatisfied. I refused to sign the non-disclosure...only to be bullied by the manager who acted as if I should undergo the procedure and understand the company protecting themselves since I needed follow up. “Don't waste your money!!! I lost a 110lbs through diet and exercise. Due to the weight loss, I had excess skin. I was very self conscious about my stomach. I worked hard and just wanted to feel good. I had skin removed and lipo. The recovery time was long and hard (which is expected with surgery). I'm very active so it was very difficult not being able to workout. After sharing my desire and wishes (very pushy) sales rep 'helped' make my decision because she said they could help achieve my vision. The term "flat" was used several times by multiple staff members. I had multiple follow ups, which they schedule to monitor your results. I was disappointed at the 3 month because I still didn't see a difference. They said still give it time. At my 6 month, I laid out my disappointment and anger. When they showed me the before and after pics, I saw no difference (my mom and husband agreed). Ive lost weight since the surgery and my clothes fit no different. How is this possible?! I was told by Lisa and another staff member that I can come back and have more skin removed. Why didn't they do that in the first place?! They claim to have 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Well, I'm not satisfied and my only option is to go through the pain again. Lisa, (who's job is to make sure customers/patients are happy), lacks customer service skills. Doesn't know how to return emails.

Do yourself a favor and don't throw your money away. I should've done my research and had a tummy tuck (somewhere reliable with skilled doctors) which was the same price. I feel I was taken advantage of. I'm more miserable than before.”

“Where do I start. First off I felt pressured to have the procedure. Had to have it done before the end of the month in order to get the discount. I still see the ad out there for the same deal. The consultant made it sound like a piece of cake never talked about the healing process. The procedure was very painful. I felt like a piece of meat on an assembly line of bodies. There were people coming into the operating room that should not have been there including the consultant that didn’t have on any gloves or a hair net. You a basically naked with your arms out to your sides. I felt like my privacy was violated. The Dr. was playing music so loud that I couldn’t talk and the nurse had her back to me most of the time. It’s been 3 weeks since the procedure and I am still so sore. I don’t know what the outcome will be but at this time I’m really sorry I had it done.”

“I was in a really bad car accident 3 years ago and had to learn how to walk again and went through a long recuperation. I had gained alot of weight during that time and had a hard time losing the weight after I regained as much mobility as I was ever going to get. I cannot work out like a " normal" person anymore and decided I needed to make a change for myself and for my health. I did alot of research and loved what SONO BELLO offered and their up to date procedures. When I went in for my consult I was happy to see that the nurses and other employees had recently had the procedures done themselves. Everyone at the office were so very friendly from the receptionists to the nurses to the Dr. Himself. They answered every question I needed answered with very knowledged answers. They talked me through every option open to me and helped me come up with a treatment plan and then I was pleased to actually get my surgery scheduled within 2 days. I was also very happy that they ask so many health questions and do a very thorough physical beforehand. Their surgical center is very very clean and well maintained. I liked that they also called numerous times to check on me during the first week after my tri-sculpt ex and also the extra emails with aftercare tips as well. I was very pleased that in my patient folder they gave me all the numbers to everyone I needed in the office as well as the doctors credentials. I am very pleased with my results so far as i am almost 2 weeks post surgery. I also was pleased that they provided the garments needed for the aftercare. They are great quality and the perfect size for me as I am not sure I would have bought the proper size had they not provided them for me...I can't wait to see how my body keeps changing and morphing.. “I had the worst experience ever! I went in to have 3 areas completed, my outter thighs, inner thighs, and inner knees. The consultation went well, however the day of the procedure is where everything went wrong, I had a doctor who was trash talking another doctor and complaining about a patient that was experiencing complications. The doctor was doing this all during my procedure. The procedure itself was extremely painful and would not recommend to anyone! I came to each scheduled post-op visit and shared with staff my dissatisfaction with the doctor that did my procedure and my results. I was told for the results that I needed to wait the entire 6 months as that is when results really show. Well I’m at 6 month post-op, I have black discoloration in my procedural areas, I have even blacker areas in the holes that they punctured . I look awful and is extremely unhappy, sad, self-conscious , depressed and is so upset I wasted over $5300 fior me to look worst now then I did prior to. I would not recommend having any kind of work with Sono Bello as you will save so much money by getting a training and buying healthy foods to get the body you want! At least you don’t have to worry about permanent damage or discoloration that no one is addressing despite many complaints. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for upper management to contact me and I have yet to hear from anyone. Don’t believe the commercials and the hype it’s fake!!!”

“I would like to start off by thanking Nurse Nykee!!!! She handled my first pre op and I was a nervous wreck with 10,000 questions and shaky hands and she handled herself like a Pro. She was calm and reassuring as well as patient and kind. I had a family emergency and had to leave without completing our appointment and she still held her cool. I work with people and I understand the professional strength she had to use to not show any irritation with me and I applaud her for her wonderful attitude! Well it has been ten days now and I am swollen hard as a rock! I was repeatedly told about the swelling from nursing staff (Tara, Nykee, Alecia, Angela) surgeon(Dr Muecke) and reviews but Let’s just say until you live with it you won’t understand it. I have never had this much swelling in my entire life and I guess it really attests to the trauma I endured in my lipo areas. The body is wonderful at healing and protecting itself. Although a bit uncomfortable the swelling is more annoying then painful for two reason for me. One because it obviously is hiding my absolutely amazing shape under there! I mean in my areas were the swelling has subsided I am already so small it puts a smile on my face so I can only image the great results yet to be uncovered! Reason number two is that bending and twisting is made a bit painful and awkward from the swelling. There are only small areas that still hurt but not consistently just to the touch. I am already fitting in clothes that I haven’t worn in many many years and I look awesome!! Friends and family can see the improvement and have made comments about how nice I look even though some have no idea I even had lipo. I have been watching my meal portions, I’ve drastically cut back on snacks and I’m staying away from soda completely. I have been using the stairs in my home for workout and walking every opportunity I get to help with toning. My biggest concern is that my sides won’t match my front and I will look square so I have been just doing a few squats and side bend type of exercises gently. Overall I believe that nurses like Nykee and Alecia at Sono Bello who are honest and straight forward about what to results to expect from the procedure and what to expect from yourself really helped me to get through this process without a worry or regret.”
