“I scheduled a consultation with Sono Bello, I was interested in their Lipo procedure due to quicker recovery time. I am getting married in October and have found it difficult to take the time off needed to recover from traditional plastic surgery. I met with Shannon on Friday morning for my consultation. Shannon was informative, caring, friendly, and helped put my mind at ease. After selecting my procedures, Shannon recommended I drive to Raleigh for my surgery because that surgeon is their best. I scheduled my pre-op and surgery date and paid my $14k for surgery. I did not realize we were waiting for the surgeon to confirm my dates since I recently quit vaping, I thought everything was confirmed since they had me pay for surgery. I left the Sono Bello office feeling happy and excited, I even started recommending them to friends. On Monday, I received a text message from Shannon informing me the surgeon would not perform surgery as scheduled because more time was needed since I recently quit vaping. I could still do the surgery, but needed to wait another 4 weeks, which would be 3 weeks before my wedding. As a solution, Shannon recommend their surgeon in Charlotte, who she’s already said is not their best but he requires less time between not vaping and surgery. The Charlotte surgeon Shannon recommended is a general surgeon who does not specialize in plastic surgery. After doing some research I did not want to move forward that’s when Shannon suggested a third surgeon who’s reviews were worse than the second surgeons. At that point I just wanted a refund.

It’s my fault for not doing this before I originally booked my surgery, but I was caught up in how I wanted to look on my wedding day. After reading reviews not on Sono Bello’s website and through the BBB, I am horrified by the number of recent negative reviews from patients concerning botched surgeries. Numerous complaints on how difficult it’s been for many to have their problems fixed by Sono Bello, how patients are often ignored after surgery and are left to deal with disfigurements resulting from their procedures. I urge anyone considering Sono Bello to review the complaints filed with the BBB.

I requested confirmation when the refund process was started. I’ve heard nothing but crickets from Sono Bello since I officially cancelled.”

You should definitely do your research on online and know what you're signing up for, which I did. Ignore the negative reviews because I absolutely did not experience any of that whatsoever.

My pre-op appointment was a breeze. I met my nurse and Dr Willard who were amazing in calming me my nerves.
The morning of my procedure I couldn't stop shaking I was so nervous but the nurse and Dr Willard were so convincing and calmed me down.

And they were right!
I didn't feel a thing! And the day that I got home I looked like I have my skinny body back!

I won't lie to you, the pain is pretty bad on the second and third day (but nowhere close to intolerable), but the fourth day everything is peaches.
I cannot wait for the next few months to pass by and be able to show my new body off. More than five stars to Sono Bello!!!”

I noted 3 Doctors listed on the wall, aked if these are the Doc doing the procedures with the company? she was not able to tell me who would do my procedure because there are many per her.
Overall, feel, that a medical professional should be consultaning with me for realistic results and not a pulled up image based on what I want done of someone else body... NO ONE PERSON BODY IS THE SAME. And yes, I was told that this is not an invasive procedure. So I guess this is why. “What I am finding out about places of this nature is they thrive off taking the deposit money from those that have a change of heart about getting a procedure done. My suggestion to anyone is do not allow them to fast talk you into giving a deposit until you’ve had ample time to think about it and really decide what you want. The consultation turns into you signing a bunch of papers and then you deposit $1000 that you will not be refunded. They don’t tell you that but will kindly tell you if you decide to cancel. “Don't go here!! This place is a total scam! Check the BBB rating - 1 star and over 200 complaints! How are they even in business?? I tried to complain on Twitter and they blocked me! Super shady! BUT before they blocked me, someone on Twitter said they pay people to remove negative Google reviews. Fortunately, you can't remove BBB reviews though, so definitely see attached pic.
